"Reinventing Jesus." The readable part deals mostly with textual criticism. Consider it fairly because the textual criticism of the New Testament (what is sometimes called "lower criticism") is the closest that NT study gets to collaborative and objective data-driven research.

"Jesus and the Eyewitnesses." To hear some speak of it, it should spark a revolution and put the fear of God into NT critics. Check it out, then.

"Fabricating Jesus." Starts with some armchair psychoanalysis (no charge) about Robert Funk and J.M. Robinson. Let it be said plainly: any ex-fundamentalist who says he found his way to a more rational way of thinking will be slapped twice with a red herring saying his theological education and understanding is therefore impoverished (and, by implication, that if he weren't such a dolt in the spiritual department, perhaps he'd be more like me). A common trope nowadays.

"The Jesus Legend." Actually argues for historical reliability. A chapter title borrowed from Doherty responds to him.

"Did Jesus Exist?" by Ehrman.

"Bart Ehrman and..." poorly-considered cover and scope of rebuttal (since others have replied also) but that's just my opinion. You can get part of Price's essay free.

"The Christ Myth Theory and Its Problems." The most interesting visible portion is the introduction, a description of Price's journey.

You can get Carrier's twelve rules of historical method for free, but do be warned that expertise is necessary to do good history (he said half-jokingly).

David Fitzgerald has "Nailed."

Raphael Lataster decides to start his two-part debunking of God and Jesus with the easy part (!?), Jesus.

Matthew McCormick argues against the Resurrection. I'm sorry, did somebody forget to give him the memo? The new evil atheist conspiracy denies the existence of Jesus. We decided it would save money on buying all the books in favor of the resurrection of Jesus.

"Dethroning Jesus." Bock and Wallace take on some claims.

"The Missing Gospels." More reasons why Bauer is wrong.

"Making Sense of the New Testament." It's historically reliable.

"The Power of Parable." Crossan takes a walk on the mythological side.

"Who Do People Say That I Am?" V.K. Robbins style.

"Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up?" Craig leads with an argument for the resurrection.

Dunn's series (at least his emphasis on memory) seems to be part of a trend inspiring the current (fourth?) quest for Jesus.

I did not know where to put it

Thanks.
“The only sensible response to fragmented, slowly but randomly accruing evidence is radical open-mindedness. A single, simple explanation for a historical event is generally a failure of imagination, not a triumph of induction.” William H.C. Propp

History?
Hagan takes the best early Judea-Christian sources- Josephus, Philo, and the New Testament- along with the best Roman sources and traces characters common to both. In doing so, Hagan comes up with a late-crucifixion timeline and some interesting conclusions on the role of the High Priesthood in Roman persecutions of A.D. 64.

Thanks PK: quite a haul of reading material ....
A "cobbler of fables" [Augustine]; "Leucius is the disciple of the devil" [Decretum Gelasianum]; and his books "should be utterly swept away and burned" [Pope Leo I]; they are the "source and mother of all heresy" [Photius]
