Nehemiah 6:15
The wall (חומה) was finished on the 25th (month) of Apollo (אלול)
Nehemiah 4:3 specifies חומת אבנים "wall of stones" which identifies the word חומה with αἱμασιή wall of dry stones.
The Messiah is a Wall?
Re: The Messiah is a Wall?
Apollōniōn is an Elean month (September or August) that might be the כסלו (Kislav) in Nehemiah 1:1, being a dialectic variation. The wall was completed on the 25th (Nehemiah 6:15) and Hannukah is anachronistically mentioned in Nehemiah 12:27 that is celebrated on the 25th of December.
Wall of stones / bricks
Pausanias 7.21.12
Before the sanctuary of Demeter is a spring. On the side of this towards the temple stands a wall (αἱμασιά) of stones (λίθων)
Herodotus 1.180
Wall of baked bricks (αἱμασιὴ πλίνθων ὀπτέων)
The word חמה means καῦμα (burning heat) and חמן is a kiln-god i.e. Hammon cf. κάμινος "kiln", the synonym of πλινθεῖον (מלבן, מלכן, מלך) "brick kiln" whence also πλίνθος (לבן) "brick" cf. λίθον/אבן "stone".
Nehemiah 12:27
In the dedications of the wall (חומה) of Jerusalem
What is with this emphasis on the haimasié (αἱμασιή) "Wall", as if it were a god. These stones or bricks would also need to be plastered or ἐπιχρίω "to plaster on" cf. Luc. Hist. Conscr. 62 ἐπιχρίσας δὲ τιτάνῳ "plastered on with plaster".
cf. ἐπίχριστος (משיח) "plastered on".

Pillars of Hercules are called Στῆλαι Ἡρακλήϊαι and corresponds to צלעות םלקרות
Ezekiel 41:5 קיר בית τεῖχος οἴκου "wall of the temple"
Ezekiel 41:6 צלעות בקיר στῆλαι ἐπὶ οἴκῳ "supports towards the walls"
In this context צלע is a buttress or an angular column supporting a wall rather then an upright column, that also envisions a rib cage, this is described going around the temple, hence can be described as περικίων "surrounded with pillars" (רקיע) and κίων is the word ציון columnar gravestone.
