Q&A: Proposed Bible Chronology

Post by mratti »

This is my proposed chronology of the Bible. The dates assume the destruction of the Temple occurred in 586 BC, and are only "correct" relative to each other.
I am hoping that these dates will align with non-biblical sources.

]  = end of chapter
]] = end of book
?  = wild guess
Blank year = text occurs between non-blank years.

Re: Q&A: Proposed Bible Chronology

Post by Peter Kirby »

Can you provide some more detail on how this was constructed?

In particular, exactly which events were chosen in such a way as to line up with the absolute chronology of years BC? (As opposed to being dated relatively to other events in the Bible.) And how were these events dated?
