2 Samuel 13:18 - Tamar {Phoenix) had a garment of divers colours ( כתנת פסים)

Ezekiel 17:3
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, long winged, full of feathers, which had divers colours and came unto Lebanon.

According too Herodotus, feathers of the Phoenix are Red & Gold and resembles an Eagle and the Phoenix appear once in 500 years and Noah was 500 years old when he begat Shem (Phoenix) and i suspect the number based on the Pentecontad calendar , 16 months or the time it takes for the Phoenicians too return from there sea voyages.

You kind of lost me at
Tamar {Phoenix)
, but this is probably one of your better posts.

Had to look up
divers
.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/divers
Do not mistake divers with diverse. Divers is a word in its own right, albeit a fairly formal and uncommon one. Both words come from Latin diversus, meaning "turning in opposite directions," and until around 1700 they were pretty much interchangeable-both meant "various" and could be pronounced as either DYE-verz (like the plural of the noun diver) or dye-VERSS. Both words still carry the "various" meaning, but these days divers (now DYE-verz) is more likely to emphasize multiplicity (as in "on divers occasions"), whereas diverse (now dye-VERSS) usually emphasizes uniqueness. Diverse typically means either "dissimilar" (as in "a variety of activities to appeal to the children's diverse interests") or "having distinct or unlike elements or qualities" ("a diverse student body").
Pretty subtle distinction. Google led me to the rescue of the Thai boys in the cave and I'm not completely clear if they were rescued by
divers divers
or
diverse divers
.

Regarding the garment of many colors -
Now she had a garment of many colours upon her; for with such robes were the king's daughters that were virgins apparelled.- -And his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her. (2 Sam. 13:18 JPS)
She was wearing an ornamented tunic, for maiden princesses were customarily dressed in such garments. -- His attendant took her outside and barred the door after her. (2 Sam. 13:18 TNK)
It should be pointed out that King's virgin daughters is ‎בְנוֹת־הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ הַבְּתוּלֹ֖ת has betulah for virgin as opposed to almah.

The only other time in the Tanakh that we find ‎כְּתֹ֣נֶת פַּסִּ֔ים is
Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age; and he made him a coat of many colours. (Gen. 37:3 JPS)
Now Israel loved Joseph best of all his sons, for he was the child of his old age; and he had made him an ornamented tunic. (Gen. 37:3 TNK)
Nothing kinky to see here of course.

What this has to do with Ezekiel is anybody's guess.
and say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: A great eagle with great wings and long pinions, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the top of the cedar; (Ezek. 17:3 JPS)
Say: Thus said the Lord GOD: The great eagle with the great wings and the long pinions, with the full plumage and the brilliant colors, came to the Lebanon range and seized the top of the cedar. (Ezek. 17:3 TNK)
In this case, ‎רִקְמָ֑ה (variegated stuff) is the term used for many colors. This occurs many times in Ezekiel but not in the Pentateuch.

תמר (Tamar)
- Ἀγήνωρ (Agenor) "Father of Phoenix"
- כנור (Kinnor) "Lyre"

The word תמר means PALM TREE and always translates into the word φοίνικος (Phoinikos) and the modern Hebrew/Arabic word for Palm tree is דקל (DKL) قَل‎ (Daqal) from δάκτυλος (Daktulos) or Delos (Δῆλος) and also the meaning of the word תולעת (Tolath).

Exodus 25:4 - תולעת שני = δάκτυλος φοῖνιξ or Δῆλος φοῖνιξ

The word תולעת is rendered κόκκινον which is סכה / קיקיון "Coccus" which is the type of Worm (תולעת/σκώληξ) that lives on
the leaves of the Palm Tree that produces Scarlet.

In Genesis 38:28, Tamar (Palm Tree) and Judah (Hand) give birth too twins.
- bound upon his hand(יד) a scarlet thread(שני)
- ἴδας is a poetic name for the little finger ( δάκτυλος ) thus Judah is the 4th son

The strings of the Lyre are made from the fibers of the Palm Tree the arms are made from the wood .
That is why Lyre is called כנור and strings called סלה/ ψαλῶ

ZMR - Psalm (ψαλμός) ψλμ > ψμλ/זמר *Metathesis
TMR - Palm (παλμός) πλμ > πμλ/תמר

The Palm tree features of most Judea coins
