Queen of Sheba

Post by Ethan »

Bathsheba (בת־שבע) wife of David, also known as Bathshua (בת־שוע)
appears in Gen 38:12, the wife of Judah , rendered 'Daughter of Shua'
but the Hebrew is Bathshua (בת־שוע).

Also in this verse is TAMAR, who was given too ER, first born son of Judah
and is killed verse after, the first born son of David is killed for raping TAMAR.
and the last son mentioned is Sheleh (שלה/Σηλωμ ) similar too Shelemeh (שלמה/Σαλωμων)

Bathsheba can mean "One of the Seven Daughters" , like the wife of Moses.

Exodus 2:16 - Priest of Midian had seven daughters
- 'Seven' is שבע (Sheba).

Seven daughters in Greek mythology are the daughters of Atlas and come under different
names, Pleiades, Atlantides, Dodonides, Nysiades and Hesperides and located near the
Atlas Mountains in North West Africa which was under Carthage.

Hesperia "Western Land"
* ע-ר-ב - ἕσπ-ερ-ος
* Hespa - שבע

Queen of Sheba then be interpreted "Queen of the West"

Carthage was founded by a Woman, a Queen called Dido, also called Elissa
and Dido, similar too Dodonides and Dedan that is paired with Sheba.

According too Appian, Carthage was founded by a certain Carchedon and Zorus.
In Gen 38 , Tamar with Judea bear Pharez and Zarah

Tamar' means Palm and translates 'Phoinikos'

Dido is similar too the name David, it's then probable, due to the Anti-Effeminate nature of Judaism
that Dido was emasculated into David and the Old Testament is disguised Punic history.

Philistines in the Book of Samuel are an invention of the Masoretic scribes, You won't find Philistines in the the Dead Sea Scrolls or Greek version of Samuel that instead write ἀλλοφύλων "another-tribe" .

φυλῇ - Celts/Gauls.

Samson from the Latin epithet of Hercules, "Sancus" is associated with the Western region of Carthage, Spain
and pillars of Hercules and Samson encounters ἀλλοφύλων

Jdg 14:1
Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.
Gen 38:12
Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite.

The ἀλλοφύλων in Samuel have odd names and places, like Gath , Goliath, Shaaraim, Ekron, Keilah, Selahammahlekoth, Shunem, Gilboa, Aphek, Geba , Gazer , Gob, Lahmi , Sibbechai , Hushathite , Saph, Jaareoregim, Gittite, Gibbethon, Pasdammim

I thought I corrected this for you in the other thread, but now this is just embarrassing.

Masoretes
The Masoretes (Hebrew: בעלי המסורה‬ Ba'alei ha-Masora) were groups of Jewish scribe-scholars who worked between the 6th and 10th centuries CE,
Granted Masoretic is a cool word.

Your use of it reminds of the Princess Bride where Inigo Montoya tells Vizzini -
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Masorah http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/artic ... 65-masorah
The name "Masorah" occurs in many forms, the etymology, pronunciation, and genetic connection of which are much-mooted points. The term is taken from Ezek. xx. 37 and means originally "fetter." The fixation of the text was correctly considered to be in the nature of a fetter upon its exposition. When, in course of time, the Masorah had become a traditional discipline, the term became connected with the verb ( = "to hand down"), and was given the meaning of "tradition." For a full discussion of the meaning and history of the word see Bacher in "J. Q. R.," iii. 785, and C. Levias in the "Hebrew Union College Annual" for 1904.

Exodus 15:14 - פלשת = Φυλιστιιμ
Genesis 21:32 - פלשתים = Φυλιστιιμ

1 Samuel 22:10
גלית הפלשתי = Γολιαδ τοῦ ἀλλοφύλου

Distinct words.
