The affinity between Sparta and Jews is not new and mentioned in the Book of Maccabees.
1 Maccabees 12:20
Arius, king of the Spartans, to Onias the high priest, greeting, It has been found in writing concerning the Spartans and the Jews that they are brethren
They were several Spartans serving as priests in Israel

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcimus
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menelaus_(High_Priest)
Alcimus, a character in the Lliad is rendered אליקום ( Eliakim)
and the name occurs in 2 Kings 18:18 and Isaiah 22:20
Menelaus - King of Sparta, wife of Helen of Troy.
Another Spartan name, Memnon meaning Stedfast
is thus אמנ ( Psa 78:37), so the name is identical too Amnon .

Memnon(ממנון) can be lengthened into Agamemnon ( אחיממנון )
* ἀγά/אחי = Wondrous
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agamemnon
Spartan Prefixes are identical to prefixes in the Bible.
ἅλ , ἀγά , ἥβῃ, διο, εὗ, ειμι .
Memnon was the King of Ethiopia ( South of Byblos) in Phoenicia, thus there was a Spartan Colony in Phoenicia in Pre-Homeric times
and this explains the affinity between Hebrew and the Spartan dialect of Greek.
