Hebrew

Hebrew is a very rich language and it's affinity with it's sibling languages is lost, words are that seemingly Greek are Hebrew and vice-versa, as if they are the same language.

A Jewish temple is a Synagogue and etymologists say " Greek συναγωγή, synagogē, 'assembly ", however one can derive the name from the Hebrew language, from כָּנַס kanac "to gather, collect, wrap". see Psalms 33:7 "He gathered the waters of the sea together' , in the Greek counterpart, כָּנַס (Kanac) is συνάγων (Synagon) and כָּנַס (Kanac) is Kenesa.

כָּנַס גוי ( Kanac gowy ) " a gathering of people" .

Guitar
This word came from κιθάρας ( Kitharas) 'Harp'

יֶתֶר (Ithar) ' String/cord"
עָשׂוֹר (Asowr) ' Instrument with 10 strings'

Ayin words are often voiced with a G and שׂ & תֶ interchange and thus Osr > Gtr > κιθάρας/קִיתָרֹס > Guitar , the Phoenicians are credited by Ancient Greeks as the Inventor of the Lyre and they call it a φοίνιξι ( Phoinici ), ' φίν is כִּנּ . see כִּנּוֹר (kinnor) or κινύρα( Kinura). Genesis also credits כִּנּוֹר (Kinor) too the Phoenicians (φοίν = קין) in Genesis 4:17, עוּגָב (uwgab) in this verse is εὐήχου (Euhxou) "euphonious"

Euhxou > Ewhxob ( עוּגָב )

Jubal (יוּבָל) from Nebel "harp, lute, guitar, musical instrument, wine-bottle" and the root is κύμβη (Kymbh) "hollow of a vessel or drinking cup"
where we get κύμβαλον (Kymbalon) or Cymbal . κύμβαλον(נבלים ) > κμβλ > Νβλ(נֶבֶל) "Musical Instrument( 2Sa 6:5) & Wine-bottle(1Sa 10:3) .

Adah - ἁδύς(Adus) pleasant/sweet (to the Ears), see הֵד,הֻיְּדוֹת (huyĕdah) "Sounding, songs of praise , Audio.

נבא is always προφήτης ( Prophet ) in the Septuagint, because it is.

The word 'Prophet is a Morpheme, πρό (pró, “before”) + φημί (phēmí, “I tell”) and this suffix forms other words , βοή (Boe) 'to cry' and also בָּטָא (bata) "to speak rashly".

נבא is נ + בא
προφήτης > π-φή > נ-בא

The נ in נבא is a prefix and an abbreviation of πρό-, από-, ἐπὶ- and this can be proven.

examples
נבכ (N-bek) is ἐπὶ πηγὴν (Epi-Pege) * Job 38:16 *אָפִיק (Apiq) "Spring/Channel"
נגש (N-gash) is προ ἐγγίσας (pro-Eggisas) or προ σήγαγεν (Pro-Segagen)
נגיד ( N-Gid) is προ ηγέομαι (Pro-Hgeomai)
נדד ( N-dad) is ἐπτοεῖτο ( Ep-Toeito) Jeremiah 4:25 * πτοέω
נפש ( N-Phesh) is προ-ψύχω (Pro-Psuxh) 'give breath too' * ψύχω - שִׂיחַ

שמשון is written ΣΑΜΨΩΝ ( Sampson ) in Greek because it's the intended pronunciation of the Ancient Hebrew.

שיח (Sych) is ΨΥΧ ( Psych)
ImageImageImage - ΨΥΧ

PSI is the letter SIN with a tail , Since Sampson roots from Shamesh, then this word must also have the PSI sound and
here is a picture from the DDS of this word.

Isaiah 13:10 DDS
Image

Noticed the long-tail of the final SIN , thus the sound was recognized., this is
written השמש and the ש is indistinguishable, however it's the preceding מ
that gives the ש the initial 'P' sound. Thus the Ancient pronunciation of Shemesh is
more like Shempesh . σμῇ φώς'

עמרם (Amram) written Αμβραμ (Ambram) in Greek.

מ > Mβ
מ > Μψ

In Hosea 9:6, Memphis is מף but this is Μέμφ ( Hidden-sound).

Here the P extends into the PS sound.
פת (Pth) = ψιχ (Psich) ' Morsel / ψιχίον
פש (Pesh) = ψυχ (Psuch) ' breath
שוא (Sua) = ψευδό (Pseudo) ' False

שמנ is rendered πίονα 'Fat ' , a cognate is πῖος (Pios) 'unctuous/Oily' and is used figuratively for a flattering-person,
from which we derive Pious ' Devout/religious'

שמש means 'Shine', as a cognate of שמנ because 'Anointing' makes things 'Shine' and another word
Greek rendering of שמנ is λιπασμός (Lipasmos), a compound word.

λίπα ( Lipa) 'Fat, Oil, Rich, Lard' , one can clearly see this cognates with חלב (Cheleb) and
suffix, is σμᾷ (Sma) 'to wipe' , thus together, Lipa + Sma means 'wipe with Oil' ( Anoint)
and this suffix occurs in χρῖσμα (Chrisma), a synonym.

Thus Samson means 'the shining one' or figuratively 'anointed one'.

.לַהַב ( Leb) 'glittering, bright'
λάμπω ( Lampa) ' to shine'
λιπαίνω ( Lipainw) 'to anoint'
φανῇ ( Phanh) 'lamp
λαμπρός ( Lampros) 'bright, radiant'
לַפִּיד ( Lappid ) ' Lamp'
φλόγα ( Phloga) 'blaze
λιπαρός ( Liparos) 'Shiny with Oil
בָּהִיר (bahiyr) ' bright'
בָּרַר (Barar) 'bright, clean, polished
מָאוֹר ( Maowr) 'bright

Note the frequent interchanging of M/N with B/Ph/Mp/S * Menorah = φανῇ ὁράω .

ΧΡΙΣΜΑ = ΧΡ + Ι + ΣΜΑ

The middle Ι is used to merge-words, as it does in Hebrew i.e אביאל is אב י אל
- i.e ἥβη ἡλίου > ἥβ ι ἡλ > Αβ ι ηλ > אב י אל "Youth dedicated to Helios"

The root of ΧΡ is ΧΕΙΡ "Hand" and thus ΧΡΙΣΜΑ means 'Smear with the hand' , so this word doesn't have
the product in it , which would be ΕΛΑ " Oil " and note the similarity between this word and ΗΛΙΟΣ ( Sun) thus
this word means 'Shine' ( elbow grease ), see הלל , which sometimes means Shine or Sun. (anything shiny).

ΧΡ is קר see Exodus 34:29 'Skin shined ' and note in the Septuagint, Skin is ΧΡΩΜΑ ( Chroma ) which means Skin, Color and Chromatic , from a root meaning 'to rub' (with the hand) and the Hebrew word is עור and this word means Blinding, dyed animal skin and exposure ( naked).

שמש = ΣΜΗ ΦΩΣ " Shining light "

There is very little difference with the Greek & Hebrew version of the Book of Ecclesiastes
and thus easier to compare the languages with it.

Greek & Hebrew are structurally identical.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
ל - τοῖς
כל - πᾶσιν
זמן - χρόνος
ו - καὶ
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τῷ
כל - παντὶ
חפץ - πράγματι
תחת - ὑπὸ
ה - τὸν
שמים - οὐρανόν

2
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
לדת - τεκεῖν
ו - καὶ
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
מות - ἀποθανεῖν
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
טעת - φυτεῦσαι
ו - καὶ
עת- καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
עקור - ἐκτῖλαι
נטוע - πεφυτευμένον

3
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
הרוג - ἀποκτεῖναι
ו - καὶ
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
רפוא - ἰάσασθαι
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
פרוץ - καθελεῖν
ו - καὶ
עת - καιρὸς
ל - τοῦ
בנות - οἰκοδομῆσαι

Most Hebrew words are Greek words shrunken down.

-Death-
תמותה : Thamate * H8546
θανάτω: Thanate

θανάτω > θνάτω (תמותה ) > νάτ/μάτ (מות ) * h4191

צדיק = δίκ ( Σδίκ) * Identical in meaning and pronunciation.

ζ is composed of ς and δ, so that in aeolic it becomes σδ reversely, in attic, σδ becomes ζ
i.e Ζεύς - Σδεύς - Δεύς .

Machine Mechanic

1 Kings 7:28 : מכונה Mĕkownah

μεχωνωθ
μηχανή
μαχανᾷ
- contrivance, machine, device, gear

Why did the Septuagint writers transliterate מכונה into μεχωνωθ
and similar too μηχανή, both the Greek & Hebrew words are feminine,
note that effeminate θ ending from מכנות . The western dialects of Phoenician
tend to use -ת rather then -ה for it's feminization.
