I've found Genesis 1:1 Interlinear: In the beginning of God's preparing the heavens and the earth -- -- it is apparently Tiberian Hebrew, and not some recent Hebrew version.

bə·rê·šîṯ bā·rā ’ĕ·lō·hîm ’êṯ haš·šā·ma·yim wə·’êṯ hā·’ā·reṣ.

Not much different from the transcription that I used.
I try to reconstruct the Original Phoenician or Hebrew putting emphases
on individual letters , Greek and Latin uses the same alphabet. ב is β .
Writing system has nothing to do with relationship. Maltese is written with the Roman alphabet, yet it is an offshoot of Arabic. Yiddish is written with the Hebrew alphabet, yet it is a dialect of German.
I use a table, Hebrew, Septuagint and then write down probable cognates .
Why not use dictionaries and other reference works? You seem very careless and very willing to accept anything that looks like a resemblance.

(for Genesis 1:1)
* NO abstract creation
Strong's Hebrew: 1254. בָּרָא (bara') "to shape, create"

I'll show how to use lists of related words. Let's consider words in Germanic languages for "dog":

Dutch hond, German Hund, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish hund, Icelandic hundur
Old English, Old Frisian, Old Saxon, Old Dutch, Old High German hund, Old Norse hundr, Gothic hunds

These words look a lot alike, and not much like Modern English "dog". But Modern English has a similar-looking word, "hound", and it means a dog for hunting. Thus, one concludes that the word form got shifted in meaning from "dog" to "hunting dog".

'Create' is a Christian minded word, which implies, "From nothing "
- Gen 1:1 : God created from nothing the sky and Earth (Theological)

How it is in Ancient Hebrew.
- Gen 1:1 God 'did-something' to the Sky and Earth ( Logical)

An argument that belongs in the Genesis-creation-stories thread or to its own thread. Even though I agree that it likely refers to giving form to formless matter.

It is more accurate to translate 'god destroyed' then 'god created' , you can't destroy 'nothing'.

Gen 1:1 - In the Beginning God destroyed the Heaven and Earth
Gen 1:2 - The earth was without form, and void; and darkness

The word 'ברא is used in Joshua 17:5 "to cut down something'

בר ( Refined Wheat)
ברר ( Refine)
בער ( Burn)
כְּבָרָה ( Sieve)

The word 'Create' stems from the Latin CERES, the name of a Grain-goddess
and the Hebrew cognate is גרש ( GERES) "that which is Crushed" ( Grain, Groats, Grit)

Grass, Green, Corn, Grow, Crush, Groat, Grit, Grain, Kernel, pediGREE

"Create" is from Latin creâre, and like "Ceres", it is from Indo-European *ker- "to grow, increase in size".

I didn't read the whole thread, but I don't think linguistics are helping much with the original question. Nobody assumes that Yahweh was an originally Hebrew god. His origin is usually sought somewhere in Arabia. Nevertheless, from the type, he's a typical Ba'al, like all the others. The conflict with Ba'al in the Bible exists because they basically represent the same niche in the pantheon.

I don't think anyone has a problem with the notion that the Indo-European Zeus or Iuppiter fill the same role as the Semitic Ba'al or Yahweh. They are gods of the sky and the weather (one of the proposed meanings of "Yahweh" is "He who blows"). This also explains the similarities in their imagery. Given the rather generic role of this type of god, there's no reason to assume that one god has the same origin as the other.

I've also seen the volcano-god theory:

Was God a Volcano? - YouTube
OH MY VOLCANO!!!: List of Biblical verses that suggest God was a volcano

But after considering that theory, I decided that being a storm god is more likely, since there are not many active volcanoes in the Middle East.

They are no active volcanoes in the Middle East instead the 'Volcanic' language in the Old Testament
is actually opposite in meaning and referring too Mount Hermon and the winter torrents that form
from this mountain that feed the streams and rivers of the Levant.

Why does the Hebrew Bible refer to 'melting or moving mountains?

Nahum 1:5
The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence.

Micah 1:4
And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
