New Masada dig

Includes mention of ostraca and "a collapsed cave believed to possibly contain rare scrolls."
Unlike Kh. Qumran, Masada does not have rain runoff from higher hills and from a sometimes-broken aqueduct system. It's drier.
Some Masada ms survived in part because of the casemate wall and an area with tannin from leather. I know nothing about the "collapsed cave" mentioned, but further ms fragments from Masada are at least possible.

Very cool. Thank you for sharing this.
