Chapter 17. Justin: For other nations have not inflicted on us and on Christ this wrong to such an extent as you have, who in very deed are the authors of the wicked prejudice against the Just One, and us who hold by Him. For after that you had crucified Him, the only blameless and righteous Man - through whose stripes those who approach the Father by Him are healed- when you knew that He had risen from the dead and ascended to heaven, as the prophets foretold He would, you not only did not repent of the wickedness which you had committed, but at that time you selected and sent out from Jerusalem chosen men through all the land to tell that the godless heresy of the Christians had sprung up, and to publish those things which all they who knew us not speak against us. So that you are the cause not only of your own unrighteousness, but in fact of that of all other men.
And Isaiah cries justly: 'By reason of you, My name is blasphemed among the Gentiles.' Isaiah 52:5
And: 'Woe unto their soul! Because they have devised an evil device against themselves, saying, Let us bind the righteous, for he is distasteful to us. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Woe unto the wicked! evil shall be rendered to him according to the works of his hands.'
And again, in other words: 'Woe unto them that draw their iniquity as with a long cord, and their transgressions as with the harness of a heifer's yoke:
who say, Let his speed come near; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel come, that we may know it.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put light for darkness, and darkness for light; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!'
Accordingly, you displayed great zeal in publishing throughout all the land bitter and dark and unjust things against the only blameless and righteous Light sent by God. For He appeared distasteful to you when
He cried among you, 'It is written, My house is the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves!' Matthew 21:13 He overthrew also the tables of the money-changers in the temple,
and exclaimed, 'Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you pay tithe of mint and rue, but do not observe the love of God and justice. You whited sepulchres! Appearing beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones.'
And to the Scribes, 'Woe unto you, Scribes! For you have the keys, and you do not enter in yourselves, and them that are entering in you hinder; you blind guides!'
And Isaiah cries justly: 'By reason of you, My name is blasphemed among the Gentiles.' Isaiah 52:5

There are references in 'Dialogue with Trypho' to Matthew and Luke, but the vast majority is of Matthew. Less than a handful are to Mark and John.
But, that's not it: there are a lot of quotes that don't get a reference at all, and it almost seems as if Justin is having a try-out here to see which ideas catch on?
Be that as it may, I'd like to draw special attention to the most wonderful citation of 'the keys (of knowledge)'.
Originally from Thomas of course, he talks indeed of the plural keys:
39 said IS : the(PL) Pharisee with the(PL) Scribe did they take the(PL) key of the(F) Knowledge did they hide they
Nor there-is-not they go-inward and they-who desire to go-inward there-is-not they permit them
yourselves However come-to-be the(PL) Prudent-one in.the.manner of the(PL) serpent and the(PL) Pure-one in.the.manner of the(PL) dove
Nor there-is-not they go-inward and they-who desire to go-inward there-is-not they permit them
yourselves However come-to-be the(PL) Prudent-one in.the.manner of the(PL) serpent and the(PL) Pure-one in.the.manner of the(PL) dove
Nobody has that version. Luke shares the singular key with Marcion (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1765&start=10#p39317):
52 Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn’t enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered.”
Luke 11:52 Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn't enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered."
Likely because of the word Gnosis that both use, Matthew decided to do it entirely different:
Matthew 23:13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don't enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
"Shut up the Kingdom"?! The inspiration becomes evident when we look at the Greek:
Ah, from the noun 'key of Gnosis' to the verb 'close the Kingdom', that is a no-brainer!
But - who is Sweet jus quoting here then? His Greek as well as his Latin https://www.documentacatholicaomnia.eu/ ... M.pdf.html talk of keys, plural - yet Luke and Marcion have the singular and Matthew has no key at all.
Both languages talk about how the woes are directed to Scribes - not the Scribes and Pharisees of Matthew nor the lawyers of Luke and Marcion.
Both languages refer to the past (like Luke and Marcion), while Matthew lives in the present.
And Justin is talking about someone having the keys instead of taking them (away), which is an entirely new version by itself
Who the hell is he quoting here, while he is evidently referring to something written and naming all kinds of things that are in the Synoptics as we know them?
The longer that I'm staring at Just, the more I get the feeling that his writings were some kind of dress-rehearsal for the gospels.
Justin mentions Jesus as well as Christ, and going by all his texts:

there are 627 counts of Christ, and 141 of Jesus. (cf. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7725)
Apostle? 38. Disciple? 22 - and those are mere blind counts, disregarding any and all context. (cf. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7719)
Kingdom? Only 50 of those (cf. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7674)
Body? 84. Flesh? 108. Soul? 150. Spirit? 150
Overall that would get him assigned a "Pauline label", although Paul talks very little about soul - the rest fits fine
