Hebrews 6:6 is evidence that for the author of Hebrews the "Jews" crucified Jesus

Post by Giuseppe »

Hebrews 6:6
...and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

The sense is:

By judaizing, the Judaizers became again part of the Jewish nation, the same nation of who crucified Jesus. Hence they crucified again Jesus.

This reveals that, if the passage is not an interpolation (it is the only verse where the crucifixion is mentioned), then for the author of Hebrews Jesus was crucified "by the Jews" on the earth.
