The name «son of God» in Iêsouos

Iêsous is the Greek for Jeshoua.
But the Greeks didn't know that Iêsous is Joshua.
They knew rather that Ies refers to the divine, whie -uos means son.
Iêsouos would mean "Son of God".
There is some evidence that even Luke realized this gentile connection:
