35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, “Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David? 36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared:
“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies
under your feet.”’ 37 David himself calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”
The large crowd listened to him with delight.

(Mark 12)
In proto-Mark, Jesus is a pious Jew who adores the demiurge, but he denies the demiurge for all the time of the his temporary possession by the spiritual Christ of the supreme god (not the demiurge). He denies even the final truth about himself: that he is the davidic Messiah. As possessed by the spiritual Christ of a higher god, the davidic (=demiurgical) Messiah Jesus denies that the Christ possessing him is davidic, since it is a pure spirit and can't descend from flesh and blood (not even davidic).
The sense is: just as David himself, insofar he was possessed by the Creator's spirit, recognized the superiority of the Demiurge's Messiah (contra factum that he will be a his biological descendant), so the Davidic Messiah Jesus, insofar he was possessed by the spirit of a higher god, recognizes the superiority of the Christ of an alien god (not the god of the Jews), contra factum that that spirit possessor is the Christ of another god.
The OT prophecies preserve their validity, but about the man Jesus, aka the Davidic Messiah. If he rises in Galilee, it is why he is the Warrior Messiah predicted by the Jewish scriptures, who will start the his conquest of the earthly world starting from the Galilee (where all the messianists appeared). A Jewish Messiah who will rule for 1000 years. On the earth. While the true Christians will ascend in heaven.
