Did the two robbers work as geographical pointers?

Did the two robbers work as geographical pointers?

Post by Giuseppe »

I wonder if the info about the precise position of Jesus on the cross works as geographical reference to where precisely Jesus was crucified.
They crucified two robbers with him, one on his right and one on his left

(Mark 15:27)

The two robbers are examples of a humanity enslaved by the sin and therefore still under the Law and punished without hope of redemption by the Law.

Paul talks about the stoicheia tou kosmou as particular enslavers (as givers) of the Law:
So we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elementary principles of the world . . . But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years.

(Gal. 4:3,9,10)

So the two robbers are there where are also "the weak and worthless elementary things" who are the stellar spirits, the archons.

The code message for the insiders is:

Jesus was crucified in their astral dominion. i.e., in heaven.

Addition: note that what is surprising is the reference to Jesus being precisely in the middle of the two robbers, something not contemplated even by the reference to Psalm ("was enumerated among evildoers").
