40 days after the death is a life, not an apparition

Post by Giuseppe »

If Christ was with the 12 for 40 days after the death, then this interval is not more to be considered an 'apparition' than it can be considered an entire 'life on the earth'.

So if the evidence of resurrection is only the apparitions listed in 1 Cor 15:5 et seq., then why even after the death, and even in Mark (given the fact that Jesus 'precedes' the disciples in Galilee: surely a long expectation, not an apparition), does Jesus remain visibile on the earth more than only a very intense instant (= the time usually required by an 'apparition' worthy of this name?).

Even the modern apparitions of Mary at Medjugorje don't require so much time, as the time required to await that some disciples went to Galilee to see the 'Risen Christ'. A similar Christ is not an 'apparition', he is a living person in flesh and blood.

So I think that even in the previous final of Mark there is a reply to docetism.
