I presume you mean "..the passage of or by Dio Cassius .."

  2. Hadrian included the Temple mount in Aelia Capitolina??
Sorry about that. It was a typo.

It was supposed to be "in" Dio Cassius, but what can you do?

And I know Stuart maintains that passage as interpolated, but I think it was just an altar as opposed to a full blown temple.

Cheers. I think there are likely to have been situations where altars are embellished to be temples (and perhaps likewise with synagogues)
