Hebrews 5:7: the ''days of the his flesh'' are surely a very limited period

Post by Giuseppe »

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from

What is surely true about this passage, beyond what is meant by ''his flesh'' (if a life on this earth or in the lower heavens), is the fact that the entire period of the ''days of the his flesh'' is limited to the only drama of the his death.

Jesus seems not have done other, during that period, if not suffer and die on the cross.

Hardly the time required for an entire life on the earth.

So if the ''his flesh'' alludes to an earthly life, then this Jesus is a Jesus who appeared already adult on this earth.
