if what came first were the ''sayings of the Lord'',
...then these ''Sayings'' are so banal and vain that it's impossible to believe that they were heard (by a real man or by hallucinations) in the Origin of the Christianity, to work as primary impulsion.
Therefore what came first was a ''life of the Lord''.
But we have in the Origins a ''life'' who is limited to only the Death and Resurrection of Jesus.
So also the ''life of the Lord'' came later.
THe chronological order would be the following:
1) Death and Resurrection of Jesus (Paul)
2) a ''Life of the Lord'' (Mark)
3) ''Sayings of the Lord'' (Matthew, Papias, etc)
