Celestial deities behind demons of the sublunar realm?

Then it becomes even more difficult to imagine that the "archontes of this age" are demons behind men. There is the concrete possibility that they are "deities" behind demons.
So this fact may explain why the "Prince of the Power of Air" is distinct from Satan (a mere angel). Or that the "God of this world" is not Satan and not God.
