Was Jesus really a davidic Messiah?

The Gospels say that he was "called Christ" (obviously, by more people).
Even an interpolation in Josephus say so.
Unfortunately, we can't be so sure. How many times are the people right about Jesus, in the Gospel of Mark?
That Jesus WAS the davidic Messiah in proto-Mark is an interpretation.
It is not a fact.
