Dura-Europos Gospel
Information

Source: Dura-Europos 0212 (late century II or early century III).
The Dura-Europos Gospel is generally thought to be from a gospel harmony, possibly that of Tatian. It was discovered at Dura-Europos, a Hellenistic, Parthian, and Roman border city on the Euphrates.

Here are the main gospel parallels to the narrative on this fragment:

Matthew 27.55–61
Mark 15.40–47
Luke 23.49–56
John 19.38-42
Peter 2.3-5; 6.23-24
55 Many women were there looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee while ministering to Him. 56 Among them was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee. 57 When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. 58 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him. 59 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the entrance of the tomb and went away. 61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the grave.40 There were also some women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the Less and Joses, and Salome. 41 When He was in Galilee, they used to follow Him and minister to Him; and there were many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem. 42 When evening had already come, because it was the preparation day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, 43 Joseph of Arimathea came, a prominent member of the Council, who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God; and he gathered up courage and went in before Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. 44 Pilate wondered if He was dead by this time, and summoning the centurion, he questioned him as to whether He was already dead. 45 And ascertaining this from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46 Joseph bought a linen cloth, took Him down, wrapped Him in the linen cloth and laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. 47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses were looking on to see where He was laid.49 And all His acquaintances and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee were standing at a distance, seeing these things. 50 And a man named Joseph, who was a member of the Council, a good and righteous man 51 (he had not consented to their plan and action), a man from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was waiting for the kingdom of God; 52 this man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 And he took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb cut into the rock, where no one had ever lain. 54 It was the preparation day, and the Sabbath was about to begin. 55 Now the women who had come with Him out of Galilee followed, and saw the tomb and how His body was laid. 56 Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.38 But after these things Joseph, who was from Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but in secret on account of fear of the Jews, requested Pilate that he might bring the body of Jesus; and Pilate permitted him. He came therefore and brought his body. 39 And Nicodemus came also, the one who had first come to him by night, bearing a mixture of myrrh and aloe, about one hundred litras. 40 They therefore took the body of Jesus and bound it in linens with the aromatic spices, just as is the sepulchral custom of the Jews. 41 And in the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been placed. 42 So they placed Jesus there on account of the preparation of the Jews, since the tomb was nearby.2.3 But Joseph, the friend of Pilate and of the Lord, had been standing there; and knowing they were about to crucify him, he came before Pilate and requested the body of the Lord for burial. 4 And Pilate, having sent to Herod, requested his body. 5 And Herod said: 'Brother Pilate, even if no one had requested him, we would have buried him, since indeed Sabbath is dawning. For in the Law it has been written: The sun is not to set on one put to death.' .... 6.23 And the Jews rejoiced and gave his body to Joseph that he might bury it, since he was one who had seen the many good things he did. 24 And having taken the Lord, he washed and tied him with a linen cloth and brought him into his own sepulcher, called the Garden of Joseph.

I vaguely remember something from Hurtado's the Earliest Christian Artifacts that the staurogram was used in the word for crucifixion from fairly early on, I'm not seeing it here.
The metric to judge if one is a good exegete: the way he/she deals with Barabbas.

Who disagrees with me on this precise point is by definition an idiot.

Then again, I'm not sure how extensively it was used in a given text or if it covered all uses of that word.
