He can't read it. Too blurry. Have sent another email to Smith and Landau. They must have ordered a better scan.

Smith later commented on two of my draft essays.
One he called a hodgepodge, and he was right.
The other he was more complimentary about.
Both, revised, were later published, peer-reviewed.
According to Secret Gospel Morton Smith told Scholem about the letter to Theodore about the Carpocratians, however Secret Gospel dates the proper deciphering of the letter to later. I.E. Morton Smith told Scholem, in Israel, about the letter by Clement but not apparently about the references to Secret Mark.
