Turmel on Revelation: the Lamb is Bar-Kokhba. Was the Samaritan Jesus (put Pilate here) an anti-Bar-Kokhba reaction?

Turmel on Revelation: the Lamb is Bar-Kokhba. Was the Samaritan Jesus (put Pilate here) an anti-Bar-Kokhba reaction?

Thinking about Simon Bar-Kokhba as the Lamb in Turmel's interpretation of the Lamb in Revelation (originally a Jewish book), I wonder how much this competition by a rival Jewish messiah (and one who was really able to rebuild a modest temple, for a while) provoked by reaction a Christian emphasis on Jesus being Samaritan, hence raising the concrete possibility that the memory of the Samaritan false prophet slain by Pilate could serve to make an antithesis: the Samaritan Jesus against the false Judean messiah Simon bar-Kokhba.
