To recognize the god under the mere appearance of an intruder in the lower heavens (=outer space) was a factor of merit for the only Perfects in Paul (1 Corinthians 2:6-8).
Bluntly, in Marcion and in Mark, a such recognition ceases to be a factor of merit insofar it is attributed to the demons and only them.
The only possible explanation of this blunt changement is that in whiletime something was happened: the Perfects were demonized.
Their error was the preservation of their same original belief: Jesus was a celestial god, not a man.
