I primary study the Hebrew Scripture but when dwelling into Greek mythology, there is allot of references too Phoenicians in Greek stories and it seems the Hebrew Scripture and Ancient Greek scripture collaborate each other.
They are allot of unknown names and locations in Greek mythology but are easily solved using the Hebrew or Phoenician language, I also find Hebrew words in Greek mythology and Greek words in the Old Testament.
The Story of Perseus can also be considered a Hebrew story, since it's set in the Levant.
Pausanias: 4.35
Red water, in color like blood, is found in the land of the Hebrews near the city of Joppa. The water is close to the sea, and the account which the natives give of the spring is that Perseus, after destroying the sea-monster, to which the daughter of Cepheus was exposed, washed off the blood in the spring.
