Brought to you by the same liberal crack-pots that said their scientific polling proved that Hillary would win in a landslide.

The polls had Trump trailing in the key states because that's how people were responding to surveys.

It's not like they would mark some of the respondents as "Trump" if they said they wouldn't be voting for him.

Trump supporters got an incredible amount of ostracism and hatred directed at them, so it's little wonder they closeted themselves.

If you think about it, it is a bit hard to get an accurate read on the atheist numbers for the exact same reason as Trump supporters: saying that you support Trump can be at least as painful and embarrassing as saying that you don't believe in God.

That's just common sense, anyway. You can have your own theories.

I'd rather have believed the polls about Hillary than have drunk the Kool Aid about having a "disruptor in chief" was going to make America Great Again.

I was regularly reading fivethityeight during the American election campaign. Their prediction was that Hillary would with high probability win the popular vote, but that there was a real but low chance that Hillary would lose the election despite winning the popular vote.

They were criticicised by 'liberal' commentators for regarding Donald Trump as having a serious chance.

(fivethityeight did in the early primaries predict that Donald Trump had no chance of winning the Republican nomination but that is another matter. )

Nope not at all.

I remember the fivethirtyeight guy being worshiped by Stephen Colbert for saying over and over again, it is all but over for Trump.

The typical dirty trick used by liberal polls is they are heavily weighted in favor of Democrats. Then the last couple of polls before the actual election they balance it more accurately so as to be closer to the real polls.

I remember going over the liberal polls and showing my wife how they are formulated in favor of the DNC and then showing her a couple of real scientific polls and how they indicated Trump would win.

But then again the polls mattered not because Putin hacked the election anyway.

lol. Hilary was genuinely doing ok (but not great) until Comey weighed in at the last minute. then some changed their mind, and even more decided not to vote.

ie. it was low voter turn-out that was as much an influence as anything else.

SNL, just announced that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Tom Hanks will be running for president in 2020.

They followed-up with a poll that proves Dwayne Johnson will win.

Brought to you by the same people that guest hosted Hillary as a sure win.

Liberal is as stoned stupid believes.

I am not sure why being right or wrong about the polls is a conservative/liberal issue. In 2012 many if not most conservative pundits (Dick Morris, Karl Rove, and many more) were convinced that Obama would lose to Romney, and that the mainstream polls predicting an Obama victory were biased toward the liberal side; turns out that Nate Silver and company were dead right, and Obama won. In 2016 most mainstream polls predicted a Clinton victory (I believe there was one which predicted a Trump victory, and of course Michael Moore morbidly but presciently predicted in July that Trump would swing Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin and thus win the election; he said nothing about Florida, which turned out to be a Trump bonus), but they were wrong (about the electoral votes, not about the popular vote), and the liberal pundits who rely upon them were overly confident. Both sides are biased, and both sides have proven themselves capable of sidestepping inconvenient data.

John T is just triggered. The fivethirtyeight website had the article in the OP, that's liberal media, and the memeplex in his brain spasmed onto the thread.

Liberal is as stoned stupid believes
Don't expect him to say anything intelligent when he feels like he is under attack by liberals. This is the fight-or-flight limbic response speaking. He is reciting angry vitriol and will stop only when he no longer feels like he is being threatened by liberal ideas.
