What a silly article. "Not since the road to Damascus has there been a more notable spiritual volte-face than the one made on LBC this week. Having spent a career breathing threats against the disciples of the Lord, a certain Richard Dawkins is struck by a moment of realisation."

It tries to smear Dawkins as being anti-Christian, whereas Dawkins has always been against the idea of preferring faith over science. He has been consistent on that. This kind of misrepresentation reminds me of how Tertullian portrays Marcion.

That article is silly and a misrepresentation of what he said.

I've listened to some of the interview on LBC. Rachel Johnson and Richard Dawkins are both treading on eggshells not wanting to criticise Islam.

Simple fact is in Western Europe Christianity is finished and will be dead in a few decades. Liberal denominations like Methodists and Anglicans are done just waiting for the last generation to die off. Everyone knows this. Richard Dawkins is saying he is celebrating this, but does not want all the churches to close He is an intelligent man and should know what's coming.

Islam is growing rapidly, thousands of mosques opening, and becoming more visible. Such as Ramadan lights in London shopping areas over Easter. Whilst churches everywhere are shutting.

But can't bring himself to criticise the change as afraid of accusations of racism.

The future in the UK, France and Germany is not going to be the freethinking utopia of the hard atheist imagination.

Islam isn't a New False God, tho. Islam isn't "new" to Europe, although there were no mosques in peripheral places like Iceland, etc. until our lifetime. Visibility isn't newness, is it?

Richard Dawkins ('Ducky' at Oundle) is a stark and embarrassing example of 'Careful-What-You-Wish-For' and the widespread secular 'betrayal of one's ancestral values' : he has always been the Enemy Within.

Grapes of Wrath, and all that.
