Why, believer or not, you seek a Monotheistic God.

What do they believe? What do you think? Talk about religion as it exists today.

Atheism is a relatively new word with a dubious meaning.

To be an atheist at the time of Socrates was to be abandoned by a god not a denial of the concept of God.
Socrates was charged with not worshiping the State gods. But he was not an atheist in today's meaning.

2) Atheism:

Admittedly, the same is true for our modern concept of atheism–ie, the Greeks did not have that concept. If somebody was “godless”, that meant he had been abandoned by one god or goddess or another. It did not meant that he denied their existence.

Socrates likely had these views or knowledge.

So here is your opportunity to tell us your view of what Isaiah 11:8 actually means if it is not literal, and your views on the matter are not private or secret.

Is your imagined 'Heaven' a real place? A actual remote location that you expect to travel to? ....or is it also not literal?
Is "cosmic consciousness" to be taken as being literal and real ....or is it also not literal?

Did zombie Jezuz really levitate off into the clouds? Is he 'up there' watching you?

In your view (which is not private or secret) when a chicken is decapitated where does its ruach go? Where does its nephesh go? Does it enter into the "cosmic consciousness" and thus survive for eternity?

Do you think zombie Jezuz might serve you up a pot of resurrected zombie chicken & dumplings when you arrive?

The thinking shown below is the Gnostic Christian’s goal as taught by Jesus but know that any belief can be internalized.

This method and mind set is how you become I am and brethren to Jesus, in the esoteric sense.

When you can name your God, I am, and mean yourself, then you will begin to know the only God you will ever find. It is to become more fully human.

How would you apply the sayings of that short video to atheism? Would you not agree that atheism is also a religion?

"The human being wishes to stand at the topmost place in the world, but he does not dare pronounce himself the pinnacle of creation....This is acting religious."..Rudolf Steiner

Does not atheism teach us that atheists are the bright pinnacle of evolution? That everyone and every governmental institution should be patterned after their religious beliefs?

That atheists believe in a monotheistic non-God, that is themselves?

Just a thought.

Being shanghaied into watching these youtube vids is like being dragged into a church to listen to a sermon, being subjected to a one sided pontification of a single view. The statements made in such venue can neither be questioned, challenged, nor countered.

That is why there are such things as Discussion Boards and Forums, so that there can be one on one, point for point, tit for tat, DISCUSSION of the multiple assertions and points being raised.

I am willing to discuss here any assertion, any statement, any argument, you or anyone else cares to bring to this table.
I am however, not willing to be pressed into attending your particular flavor of youtube religious services to sip your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid along with you.

Got something to communicate here, something that you want to DISCUSS ??? PUT IT IN WRITTING, and we will discuss its merits.

Absolutely.

I tried to say that with this line from the O.P.

"Non-believers seek the same thing, but with an ideal that is a human leader (s), and not a supernatural being."

I di not call what atheists do a religion but what they are ultimately doing is the same thing that a religious person does but without the woo.

I think we are on the same page my friend.

John and I just did a tit for tat on the words he heard so I find it strange that you think you and I cannot do the same with whatever words you would dispute or question.

John has got the religion with you BISHOP, and is thus willing to attend your sects services, raptly suck up your cult guru priests pontificating sermons, and sip your flavor of Kool-Ade.
Hell, singing and harmonizing along with the tunes found in your hymnal, John's already joined your warped church choir.

I won't go there. I won't ooh and ahh over whatever preacher you anoint. I won't drink what you offer from your Dixie cup along with you. And I won't join in your After Services Discussion group. BISHOP.
