God says to love the sinner and hate the sin. Ok. Do you actually believe this? I am a Gnostic Christian. We do not read myths literally. Doing so is poison to a mind. Christianity ushered in the Dark Ages and Inquisition with their foolish literal reading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR02ciand...

Re: Acts as fiction by Richard Carrier
Tell us, do you believe that Carrier is inerrant and has proven that Jesus is a myth? If so, what is his best evidence? I have asked these questions before, perhaps you will be the first atheist/mythicist to honestly address them. But I won't hold my breath. Thanks in advance. John T I don't think ...

Re: Acts as fiction by Richard Carrier
Just to know where some of us are coming from I would like to ask John T and Steven Avery if they think that there are any errors in Acts? Is Acts inerrant? Define, 'inerrant'. " The beginning of wisdom is a definition of terms ."...Socrates Sincerely, John T "incabable of being wron...

Re: Acts as fiction by Richard Carrier
Each of the four gospels contain miracles not found in the other gospels. The reason for that (according to John 21:24) is they could not list them all. Still, there are over 200 historical events in the New Testament that are harmonized by one or more of the other gospels. Today, if you write a ne...

Re: Acts as fiction by Richard Carrier
Acts has to be historical in some way because Christians didn't make things up, it would've created too many problems for them. So the Infancy Gospel of Thomas has to be historical in some way too then? How about the Gospel of Judas or the Acts of Pilate? How about the Greater Questions of Mary, wh...

Re: Is it foolish to call God, “Father”?
I shall with an O. P. I just completed but have yet to post. Alright. Has this belief in a real and literal God and Jesus, --- external instead of within us, --- hurt religions overall or has it helped? Has this callous destruction of others who believed differently actually help build respect for ...
