Re: The Bottom Line: If You Believe in an Invisible God a Non-Existent Person is Always Possible

I don't know if this holds true for gods, but as the saying goes, if you've seen one invisible man, you've seen them all.

Re: Why We Can't Trust Epiphanius With His Sources

Re: Why did Pauline gospel—gMark, not clearly deprecate the Torah law as did Paul?

Re: My Strongest Argument Marcion WASN'T First

In my opinion, if there ever was a factual living and breathing man who eventually somehow became known to us as 'Jesus', he likely spoke of a coming 'Son of Man', but did not consider himself to be this 'Son of Man'. And thus when some (such as Peter) began a movement proclaiming their hope that he...

Re: "A Better Understanding..." => "New Orthodox" replaces the Old Orthodox

So Paul told the disciples (of whom, John or Jesus?) that they needed to be baptized in the name of Jesus whereby to receive the Holy Spirit. They were then baptized in the name of Jesus, yet they still lacked the Hold Spirit. The name of Jesus was not efficacious. It was only after Paul laid his ha...
