Documentary hypothesis is ridiculous Initially. Say, the pope decided to combine the four gospels into one gospel. Do Christians recognize this book as sacred?

2. Children of Israel
Why is the first term used throughout, but the second term (Children of Israel) is distributed non-uniformly?

So here's the question. Why in chapter 10 Jews are referred (sometimes) to as "the children of Israel", but In chapters 11 and 12 they do not call "the children of Israel" never?
