Re: Solomon's Gold

There seems to be contradictions considering the whereabouts of the Gold. 1 Kings 22:48 Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber. 2Ch 20:36 He joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the shi...

Re: Solomon's Gold

חרס ( HRC) also written חרש (HRS) " Craftsman " and thus Hephaestus / Vulcan would be a better fit here. - 1 Samuel 23:16 - David went into the Horesh ( written Καινὴν ) 1 Chronicles 4:14 misreads " Valley of Craftsman " but should instead be " Islands of Horesh" , Patr...

Re: Zeus is the Jewish God.

It is more accurate to translate 'god destroyed' then 'god created' , you can't destroy 'nothing'. Gen 1:1 - In the Beginning God destroyed the Heaven and Earth Gen 1:2 - The earth was without form, and void; and darkness The word 'ברא is used in Joshua 17:5 "to cut down something' בר ( Refined...

Re: Zeus is the Jewish God.

'Create' is a Christian minded word, which implies, "From nothing "
- Gen 1:1 : God created from nothing the sky and Earth (Theological)

How it is in Ancient Hebrew.
- Gen 1:1 God 'did-something' to the Sky and Earth ( Logical)
