The word is a status rather then an actual sect and relates too all the Biblical names that are prefixed אבי (Ἥβη) "one arrived at adolescence", cognates include ἠβαιόν ( Hbaion) "Small" Iuvenis "Youth" , Juventas and Juvenile.
