Re: About “Ancient History of the God Jesus” by Dujardin

Jesus was anointed repeatedly. First there was the sinner in the city, an unnamed woman. Then there was Mary of Bethany, sister of Martha and Lazarus. This was both thankfulness for resurrecting her brother and prophesy of His death and resurrection. This even also triggered Judas, according to John...

Re: The Gospel of Paul

One of the profoundest parts of the N.T. is Sermon on the Mount--Not contained in Mark or in Paul's writings. Then there is the author of John, likely Mary Magdalene IMO. And Hebrews, also possibly a woman, suggested to be Priscilla. I am new to this list, but maybe I was mistaken is thinking that (...

Re: A suggestion regarding the beloved disciple.

I believe it was Mary Magdalene.

She was present at all the major events, and there is some suggestion she was the daughter of a major family in the priesthood of the the Mysteries.

She would have been admitted to the garden when Peter was barred, and so on.

Re: Was Paul the First to Assert that Jesus was Crucified?

Some of this discussion seems infantile. The whole point of the Bible, in my reading anyway, is to open eyes to perception of a spiritual world--aka Wisdom. If one wishes to subject the Bible to "scientific" analysis, then there are easier points to attack, such as the raising of Lazarus a...

Re: Gordon Rylands: Evolution of Christianity

I see the Bible as consisting of great spiritual truths . . . but also some history, especially the cataclysms of the Earth that so powerfully represented the hand of God. I think the Earth went through a lengthy period of literal darkness, or shadow, following the cataclysm that destroyed all life ...

Re: Dating of Hebrews after the 70 CE?

This is one of my favorite books, and I have read it many times. It always seems to be to be shortly after the destruction of the Temple. She (I'm buying the speculative theory the author was female, possibly Priscilla) is describing how the Temple was no longer necessary under the New Testament. Th...

Re: Gordon Rylands: Evolution of Christianity

What do you think about the cataclysm in the Gospel of Peter, echoing Matthew? Darkness? Earthquake? [15] But is was midday, and darkness held fast all Judea; and they were distressed and anxious lest the sun had set, since he was still living. [For] it is written for them: Let not the sun set on on...

Re: About your position in this table

Thank you for the beginner's guide.

I am a beginner.

However, I feel that the guide is actually naive.

The spiritual way of thinking is advanced. The human "wisdom" is exactly where Adam & Eve went wrong.

Re: About your position in this table

I am a 1-1. "All epistles attributed?" well, I'm still studying that. But tentatively, yes, as long as we understand Priscilla wrote Hebrews. Jesus lived, and performed miracles. Of course, this is partly based on the Pauline books, being too close after the historical events to be complet...
