Re: Why Are Historicists So Certain That Jesus Existed?

LIWC analyser Interesting site. I ran some bastardized recollection of some Caesar, along with a lot of BS, through it. Gaul is separated in three parts. In the south, there is Narbonensis, a land adjacent to Spain and Italy. In the north, there are the Lowlands, fertile plains that face the North ...

Is Norman banned from internet sites like this one?
Possibly, but he's not banned from this one (as far as as I know, he's never signed up).

Re: Another small but significant pointer to the Nazareth issue

spin wrote I don't really understand why you haven't dealt at all with the topic I proposed in the o.p. regarding the parallels between the specified sections of Mk. It's as though you took the opportunity to talk past the topic and present something unrelated.' I was interested in reading this. :-|

Re: Are the .1% are shooting themselves in the foot by hording?

Well, to focus the discussion a little: We can choose not to buy when we believe the supplier is behaving unethically. (You could even say that ethical production of goods and services forms one aspect of the quality of that good or service.) I suppose you could even say that there is a "feel-good" ...

Re: Are the .1% are shooting themselves in the foot by hording?

I’m sure I already use products with parts from 6 continents. I never tried to break it down and think about which parts come from which continents. Are you saying that people should be investigating where their products are sourced and preferentially choosing products from Africa over those from As...

Re: Are the .1% are shooting themselves in the foot by hording?

How do I choose between Asian / European / South American / African / etc. products? And in what way does this kind of choice increase trade?

The bottom line is that if you give me charity, it is soon used and nothing is left. If you trade with me, I can sustain that trade.
So you want to increase trade? Splendid. How?
Simply buy African products.
Why aren’t they being bought currently?

Re: Are the .1% are shooting themselves in the foot by hording?

Are the .1% are shooting themselves in the foot by hording? Presently, the rich preside over a demographic pyramid that is top shaped and de-stabled. Ironically, because the rich have put themselves so far from the base, they themselves have become the most unstable part of the pyramid. This is not...
